Viper drops his best work to date with Dead Man’s Hands EP
We’ve been following Viper for a little while now. Originally from Detroit, he grew up around the techno scene before he moved to Atlanta and started tinkering with piano and classical. This led to some experimentation with rock music until he discovered dubstep along with all the subgenres — and the rest is history.
The title track from his new EP, Dead Man’s Hands, out now on Noize Cartel Records, is a barnstormer that really caught our attention. It’s ear-bleedingly noisy with rampaging buzzsaws and warped guitar riffs. This is a pure headnod riddim that will go down a storm in the club. Viper’s production work is coming on leaps and bounds. Keep an eye on him next year.
There are six other stompers to get your head around on the EP. These are party tunes, through and through, very much on the wub train, either in 4/4 or broken beat format. It’s the lead track that’s the one we’re most excited about though. Check it below. Buy from Beatport or iTunes.
